Yep that’s me all teched up and ready to go.
I have no idea what my children are doing but I’ve had to wait 24 hours to get this stuff home and installed so I had to tell someone, and since Renee is not online (how rude!) to tell, this will just have to do!
Look at my new toys!!!!
This is my new scanner- a Cannoscan LIDE 60 to be exact. We had a scanner once… back when they were a fairly new toy to play with but ofcourse as we upgraded out OS the drivers didn’t keep up. So I have been without one of my own for years and didn’t really miss it until I got hooked on making brushes. So I used to trek over to my parent’s place to play with my Dad’s scanner and I was wrapped when he suggested he’d buy me one for my birthday! Yipeee!
And this is my new graphics tablet! A wacom graphire 4, 6×8!
Oh how I have drooled over these babies for months! I could just never justify the expense when we were on such a tight budget, but I got some money for my birthday from various wonderful inlaws and only had to add in a little more to make up the difference to get this awesomely fun little toy! I’ve had a quick play and it is going to take some getting used to, but it is sooooooooooo much fun!
Ok so that’s all I wanted to say…. I had better go see where the girls have gone, it’s always a worry when things go quiet! Will be back layer tonight and might even having some scanned, tabletted stuff to show you… or I might not!

Kate..how fab! Look at your new goodies! I bet you will be playing with your new gadgets big time tonight. I am so thrilled you finally got your tablet, soon you can teach me how to get the most out of mine ;)

OOoh I am practically DROOLING with JEALOUSLY!! I have ALWAYS wanted one of those tablet thingys you can draw on with a stylus on a puter(dontcha lurve my handle on the correct terms for all things technical? Frank would die LOL)Are they very expensive? I want one!!!
