Wish List

I have started this list twice on bits of paper and lost them. So I have decided to put it here because I will be hard pressed to throw the computer out with the turkish delight wrappers!

Birthday/Christmas wish list for the boogerheads

1 - wooden cake with candles
I think I have found just the one now have to decide if we can share or need one each!

2 - strap swing x 2
Thinking we will upgrade the toddler lift and lock swings to the tyre strap swings.

3 - dress-ups
We saw some ace fish tails at the museum shop, but haven’t been able to find them anywhere else.. anyone with ideas shout out, otherwise I will have to succumb to merchandising and buy them Dorothy tails!
We need new fairy wings, last Christmas’s pairs have been worn almost to bits!
We are also on the look out for a few different dress ups bits and pieces, something other than ‘dancing skirts’. Some kind of easy on and off tops, maybe old vests snazzied up? Some beaded necklaces would go down very well as well!

4 - large wooden threading beads.
I think I have seen these at the toy shop in town

5 - water colour paints
I have my eye on a set of Steiner water colours and maybe wax crayons as well… lush!

6 - Dolls
I am still on the hunt for the perfect doll… I am VERY picky when it comes to dolls and find all the plastic ones in the shop slightly freaky! I’d love a Steiner inspired doll but the only ones I have been able to find to buy in Aus are over $100 each which is getting a bit much so I suspect we won’t be getting dolls this year. I might just try and get better hair for their rag dolls and wait until they nag me to buy them a ‘normal doll like everyone has’ and I have to get over my fear of the freaky plastic dolls with eyes that always look at me…. but then I do wish I could find an awesome doll now so that they could fall in love and become forever attached while I still have a little influence left over that!

OK off to drool over Steiner dolls on overseas websites!!

ETA how cute is this doll!!
Only 29.90… UK pounds :( here if only my parents still lived in London!

Ok the dolls here aren’t bad, in price and style but I don’t like the hair much or the clothes…. yes yes I am picky!

Oh I am on a roll… found some nice dolls house furniture here… just have to wait and see if the doll’s houses gt made first!

Now I am just having fun looking up cool stuff… but how cute are these finger puppets, think I might buy a set of these as a christmas pressie for some one!

oooh, that doll freaks me out! hehe, just kidding! Fab idea to blog your wishlist - even if you do throw your PC out with the wrappers, you could always find your wishlist again from someone else’s PC ;o)

Julieanne isn’t really the doll type, good thing too as some dolls freak me out aswell lol.

Oh I had a link to a shop that has mostly wooden toys, was fantastic, will find it and email it to you.
Love that doll and the finger puppets…have got some patterns for making dolls like that.
