on and off, off and on

Been struggling the last half of this week. So many things are just not turning out like I had hoped and then to add insult to injury no power to some of the house half of the time. Not a huge deal except it means no water at some times and no sewage at others and of course the horror of no TV or computer!

Mind you no computer is probably a good thing because spending more a month on internet than you do on food just can’t go on. Something big has got to give and it’s not likely to be the ever lovely and oh so helpful (NOT) Telstra!

Attempted some present shopping today, sadly none of it for Christmas! Arghhh! And I was going to be so organised for Christmas this year… ha ha ha ha yeah right I haven’t even thought about even taking the photos for the Christmas cards let along printing them and sending them out! I think I’d like to postpone Christmas till the end of January please… I just need a little more time!

I hear a wailing child so I guess that is my que to disappear

Don’t know if this would be any help to you or not but up here in the tiny town where I live, we had a petition last year for ADSL and actually got it from that. I think it had to have 120 signatures or something, not sure.
It must absolutely suck and the power thing sounds bad.
Christmas? I know I won’t be organised - at least I won’t be dissapointed in myself!!

Oh I’m with you!!! Post pone Christmas, I don’t have time to fit anything in at the moment, let alone all the extra stuff for Christmas.

Hope you get all those bothersome things sorted! What a nightmare! You seem to be coping very well! Much better than I would….sending telecommunications vibes your way, oh and power and sewage vibes LOL ;)
