Are you ok?

Of late a lot of imaginative play has revolved around their Doctor’s sets that they got for Christmas. Understandably because we go to see ‘Dr Mark’ every month and he lets them do all sorts of horrible things to me, like finger paint with the doppler gel all over my stomach and pump up the blood pressure cuff till my hand turns blue. So they like to play at being Dr Mark and like to use the stethoscope (that either coughs or has a heart beat) to check each other out. The other day while this was going on I heard the following.

“Are you ok?”
“yes”
“good, cause I am just coming to check you out and make sure you are not dead”
“good cause I don’t like to be dead”
