Oh Kate, even though this happened ages ago now, my heart still aches that you had to go through it. That was one of my greatest fears when I was pregnant with my twins and I know I couldn't have dealt with is as well as you. Your amazing. Your babies were tiny and beautiful and so, so precious.

wow - I got all teary reading this , but even though I had a giggle over the fountain of amniotic fluid.

What a beautiful story and a happy ending ...thank you for sharing .

At the time I guess we focus on different things - what precious miracles Izzy and Zoe are. They are certainly gorgeous girls now.

I can relate to the running (well hobbling) down the hall - getting to NICU is a very powerful motivator to recover from a c/s.

As you know I lost my daughter and afterwards I made several friends who lost both daughters to TTTS (one in NOV 2003). One had laser surgery and amnio reduction but they were born at 24weeks and just too fragile.

Thank you for posting this! It was beautiful to read. I am so thankful for modern technology, even if it is way over-used; it is miraculous to have for situations like yours! I'm glad that everything turned out so well!
