Me - “get your shoes Izzy”

Izzy - “I can’t”

Me - “why not?”

Izzy - “I just can’t.”

Me - “get your shoes we are going to be late for story time”

Izzy - “I can’t”

Me - “why not? they are at the front door like they always are.”

Izzy - “I can’t get them”

Me - “why not???!!!???? what’s wrong?”

Izzy - “I’m too nervous”

Too nervous??? Too nervous to go and get her shoes??? You have to be kidding!
And yeah we were late for story time!
