I have one of those mesh thingys but the boys pull it to the floor LOL – and pull everything out.
I love IKea but haven’t been to one for years since the nearest closed down.
I have de cluttering to do …. I packed up everything in my eldest son’s room Friday (don’t ask why) and there were 10 or more boxes – including a huge car seat box.He has spent a while unpacking it …
Go on you for making a start.I find it hard to throw away stuff too.

I love IKEA but our only one is so far away now. I haven’t been there for years.

De cluttering is a really nice idea. I do it once a year, every year but we just seem to accumulate more stuff.

*SIGH* I’ve come to the conclusion that my house will never be anything but messy.

There are two things I’ve learned about de-cluttering.

First, stuff finds it’s own place. No matter how much I organize, things will always be out of place. But then I realized I was the one who was wrong. Instead of trying to organize things the way I think they should be organized, I should accept that things may like to be in odd places. I need to redefine the wrong place as the right place and then organize accordingly.

Second, I began to think of Target and Ikea as storage places. Instead of paying for storage, or storing too much stuff in my house — just in case – I should just buy new stuff, and consider the cost of new stuff to be a “storage fee.”

I’ve never been to an Ikea store……… wouldn’t even know where to find the nearest one, but we don’t get to the cities much, sounds like fun though

I’m trying to get organised and declutter too at the moment. Good luck.
