Following a Blog Trail

I confess to being totally madly and utterly blog addicted. There is so much good stuff out there on blogs, and so little time to find it all. There is simply no better way to spend an afternoon when the big kids are ith the Baldy Boy and the little kid is asleep than to follow a new blog trail. This afternoon was just such an afternoon and the trail went something like this…

I started out at A Juggling Mum who so kindly linked to me while confessing that she has totally lost the plot and is one of my feed subscribers! (thanks so much!)

From there I headed over to The Inspired Room and spent a good deal of time scrolling through the interesting articles and gorgeous photos and drooling and dreaming about when we might actually get to renovate this place. I’ve had to bookmark this blog because I know I will want to come back.

From this post about using paper in home decoration I followed a link over to this post atBlissfully Domestic (a blog I have been to several times before). Oh so much linky goodness in this one post alone! I chose based on cool name alone and headed over to A Little Bit Funky

I picked ‘craft things’ from A Little Bit Funky’s categories. I figured since she has a lovely little Etsy store that she’d most probably have some nice posts on crafting goodness as well.. I wasn’t disapointed. I love the little house in this post.. no idea what I’d do with it… just something about it is appealing. Her colour and fabric choices are inspiring!

I was obviously in a crafty blog kind of mood because I picked Today’s Crafting Blog from her blogroll, once again lots of crafty goodness there.

Somehow along the way I also managed to encounter this mouth watering recipe for German Apple Pancakes over at Mad About Martha and after book-marking the recipe I had an enjoyable little poke around there as well!

I also followed a link to this gorgeous site - Kimono Reincarnate - oh my don’t look at her ebay store ok, unless you want to empty your bank account!

And around about then the oven beeped and the biggest children came racing inside waling up the smallest child and I had to leave this lovely blog trail.. but what a way to waste a half hour!

It is so easy to immerse yourself in blogging loveliness. I will check out some of these sites tomorrow - if I start now I may never get any sleep!

Sometimes I go through all of the blogs on other people’s blog roll. It’s really interesting how you can actually get immersed on other people’s lives.

I can relate to this - often time I have set aside to clean, organise and other ‘productive’ things is sacrificed to blog trails. I sit down for a five minute check and end up in front of the computer for much longer. - Kylie at Baysidemama

Oh! I can so relate to you! That is EXACTLY what I am doing right now! DH is at work, DS2 is asleep and the remaining children are building ‘the biggest train track in the world’ while I proceed on my very own blog addiction! And I found you with so many links - - - - but I really must hang out the washing……
