I always get sad when it gets below 22oC inside. This year it didn't happen so much. On Sunday I saw that there is really snow up on the mountains, where we drove 3 weeks ago and there was nothing. I took a pic if you want to see it.

I love cooler days at the moment but not cold feet when I stay up late blogging.

It seems when the season of the moment is here we wish it away rather than embrace the opportunities each day brings.

We don't get distinct season here I guess mild winters if anything so I love Winter... spring, summer and especially Autumn.

It threw me off for a second - 40 degrees is near freezing. lol But you mean C not F. lol And it is so weird to me that your winter is during our summer. I wasn't all that good in science class. We're just starting to get some decent days here. It's so beautiful today and I even got some sun on my arms and face. And it's supposed to be nice tomorrow too. Two nice days in a row is practically a miracle here. =)

We too have broken out the bed socks and extra blankets. I love autumn days, but could well do without the chilly nights. I console myself by remembering that winter is only 12 weeks, the rest of they year is 40 :-)

I get the cold feet thing too! I wear my shoes to combat the problem, socks aren't enough! As soon as my shoes come off though, my feet are immediately freezing. When I go to bed, I always have to keep my feet over on my side so that they are nowhere near my husband! I am a warmer weather person too. I hate it how in winter you have to dress up like a michelan man with so many layers just to try and keep warm, and I'm only talking about Sydney-coldness (nowhere near as cold as a lot of places!)

aw gee, and I was just enjoying that it's been getting nice here! (we had a week of spring then two more weeks of rain and snow...then a week of spring and this morning I got freezing rain on my walk with the dog...) I think I'm entitled to enjoy my sunshine though--I just had an Alaskan winter!!

By the way, I have perpetually cold feet too. i wear wool socks. They are SOOO nice!
