My eldest tried to get up and walk (without crawling) at 7 months - we managed to delay her till 8. The other two were both 9 month walkers. I'd have been in heaven to have over 12 months without them being upright and mobile!

Bear walked at 11 months. I would have been content to have a few more months of crawling...but he's always been a precocious kiddo. They DO say that the later walkers are often earlier talkers, so maybe there's an upside to this!

Oh my goodness Kate, I can't believe I have been MIA for so long...I can't believe that he is 16 months already! (I also can't believe that he can climb on top of tables but can't walk, lol). I do believe I was 22 months old before I walked though...still hate walking, rofl

I smiled when I read this. My eldest, Groover, was 17 months old when he walked and I totally understand where you're coming from!

BTW - I love his hand gesture in the pic .... "ta daaaa!"

LOL - Because he is waiting for you to stop looking.
Great picture with him on the table and the chair pulled out. Very clever, too.

Clever climber! Scary for you though huh LOL! Mine is a bit of a climber too, constantly climbing into his big sisters dolls pram and any box that is left lying around. Lots of bangs on heads when it inevitably tips over...

I love your photos, and I love your house!
