The sun is shinging…. can you believe it?

Ok if you live up the other end of the world, or even of the country you are probably wondering what I am on about, but just go with me ok?

After a really cold snap which saw snow falling at our house (something that rarely happens) and a couple of dreary, grey, wet weeks when it seemed like spring would never ever come to our little part of the world, today, the sun is shining!

I have heaps of things I needed to catch up on inside after a busy week but I ditched them all and the small people and I headed outside into the sun! They dug in the sandpit and roamed around while I dug in the veggie garden and did my own roaming. Then we all had a jump of the trampoline, did a few flips and a bit chasing about in circles until we collapsed in a heap in the middle of the tramp to just lie in the sun…. well for a second anyway!

So to celebrate the return of the sun this week’s Flickr Friday theme is SUNSHINE!
