Beetroot Anyone?

January 16, 2009

I heard the tell tale music coming from the TV the other morning so I already knew what had come on…. but the girls are so excited that this show is back on TV they both came rushing in to tell me…

“Mamma… Mamma…. Our favourite show is on…. Beetroot Potter”.

I can’t help but grin when I hear them talk of ‘Beetroot Potter” and how their favourite story is either Peter Rabbit or Jemima ‘Waddle’ Duck. So far I haven’t corrected them either…

I know I should probably explain that her name is Beatrix and not Beetroot…. but it’s so darn cute and heck they are getting older and they don’t screw up their words as much as they used to. Muski doesn’t say anything except ‘dat’… so I need someone to say cute things to keep me smiling!

My niece the other day sang Jingle Bells to me:

On the farm we had such fun when one horse ran away!

Love it! My Little Princess does that sometimes, too – but not as much anymore, so hubby and I like to mess with her and mispronounce stuff so she’ll correct us…and she always does! :)
