This was the view from our back door on Monday. The fire is in Daylesford… not as close as it looked when we first saw the smoke, but close enough to have us watching and waiting and making a packing list for when the weather flairs up again on Friday. Thinking of everyone out that way, as well as people near all the other Vic fires that are still burning and still causing concern.

Its amazing how close it looks when its miles away. I was doing the school run when the Belgrave one started and it looked like it was only about 4 suburbs away in a direct line from us.
