I don’t have many vices. I don’t drink and I don’t smoke, I’m not even that interested in chocolate, but there is a new addiction in town and I think it’s getting it’s teeth into me…
Singstar.
The play station game where you sing along with all your favourite songs, being scored on how well you do, secretly hoping to beat the pants of your friends in the process.
Yesterday was the third singstar event I’ve attended in the past three months and it just keeps getting better and better.
I could say it was the company that makes me crave these events so much, because the company is awesome, but then the words ‘just one more song and then we’ll go home’ may have come out of my mouth more than once yesterday. I also may have said “oh that wasn’t a proper song, just one more proper go…” and I might have shoved my daughters out of the way with a bit of a hip check proclaiming “my turn now, my turn!”. Not to mention the fact that I was decidedly jittery leading up to the event, on cloud nine while there and maniacally plotting how I could get another fix as soon as we left.
Yep. Addicted.
