A few inspirational places and cool links from my feed reader for your Friday reading pleasure…

How cute is this digi scrap element pack from Kaye Winecki!! Just loving the colours! You can also get matching papers and alpha and more great Kaye goodies at the Lilypad

Cap Stamps from The Long Red Thread – oh how my girls would adore this! They LOVE stamps and they love to draw – combining the two to make their own stamps, they’d be in heaven! If anyone I know is reading this and has some of the foam trays can you save them for us please!

To Eat or Not to Eat? – An interesting discussion about books and babies at Squiggle Mum

Now that spring is beginning to show her face every now and then I want to make one of these wind catcher gorgeous thingies – as seen in this post at Maya Made.

I want to give this cracker recipe from Towards Sustainability a go here… we eat so many of the things and the ones the kids like are the ones fill with heaps of horrible flavours and colours and chemicals. Hopeful if the kids help me make them they will enjoy eating them… I wonder if I could use cookie cutters to ‘kid them up a bit’. Herb and garlic heart and star crackers anyone?

Esprit Cabane – a lovely onling ‘magazine’ with lost of eco friendly crafty family things.

Caroline Webster guest posted at Childhood 101 this week about her passion for kids playing outside. I’m a big believer in the importance of outdoor play and I’m hanging out for the kind of weather that will allow us to stay out all day!

What inspiring things have popped up in your feed reader this week?

The windcatcher is gorgeous – we might have a go at that. Thanks for the link to my article too Kate!

I like the idea of making the crackers too.

My google reader is exploding again, but I just read this post by Belinda on how to make truck play even more fun for boys which I really liked:
