Digi Scrap Sunday – I love it when people use my designs!

February 21, 2010

We get a lovely 5 mbs of internet (down and up) a month, after which we get shaped to snails pace… so I’ve been trying to spend my shaped net time doing some productive on the design front since browsing the web is next to impossible…

I’ve been working away on my February Once and Month layout and freebie – which will hopefully be ready to go this time next week. And I’ve been ‘dabbling’ in another kit which is coming along slowly but surely….

The problem is I keep getting distracted by some of the cool things people have done with my designs. Hop in over to Planning With Kids to see her fabulous First Birthday Party Ideas for Boys – including her invitation using my Fly Me To The Moon doodles (which have been retired from my shop). She is so clever that Planning Queen.

A long time scrapbooking friend also shared with me the book labels she made for her son using my Monsterous kit – almost makes me wish we had to cover and label books for our school…. almost!

And if you take a little peak in my design gallery at PBP you’ll see some gorgeous lay-outs made by my lovely Creative Team, and members of the PBP Team. I always get so excited to see what people do with my designs! (click on the image to see full credits)

And one last piece of digi scrapping news…. This month’s Scrapbooking Memories Magazine features a CD with free mini kits from seven PBP Aussie designers, including me! (Mine is top row, far right – Summer Fizz!) You’ll find them in Vol 12 No.2 and it’s out now!

If you’ve used any of my designs to create something, please share it with me! It really does make my day!

I smiled when I saw your designs at Planning with Kids. :)

Will have to get around to buying Scrapbooking Memories, saw it at the shops but waiting for payday. Unfortunately my mini is lacking a disc drive, so the cd will be useless to me:( but good going anyway!

You are very kind Kate and you have some amazing work in your shop. The book labels are such a great idea.
