Things That Bug Me.

In the interest of public health… my public health…. I need to get some things off my chest.

Why do I always run out of printer ink when I really really really need to print something right now?

What is with all the ear wigs? Get out of my house you nasty nipping creatures!

Circles…. I suck at cutting circles.

Giving up because of lack of time annoys me. If only I was better at time management maybe I wouldn’t have to give up some of the things I want to achieve because I wasted time or didn’t start them early enough.

Routine, or lack there of. Some days I am all zen about how The Father Figure’s 8 day shift cycle means that our routines are forever changing… and some days I’m all crappy about it. I wish I knew that every Tuesday he’d be home for dinner or that every Thursday morning I could leave the boys at home with him for the school run. And I wish that him sleeping between night shifts didn’t disrupt our days so darn much. Systems… I want systems and stability and regularity, damn it!

The never ending cycle of laundry. Wishing we could all go naked and I could let the washing machine sit and rust.

Nursing bras suck. All of them. I am still looking for a decent nursing bra that is supportive, has no crappy lace and actually fits me. How hard is it to make bra sizes all the same? Why is an E cup in one bra the same as a D in another?

Pollen. Coughing. Itchy eyes. Mine and theirs. Need I say more?

And yes I know this is all about me me me and I am sure these things all suck for other people in my life too, but today I just interested in my crap. Tomorrow I’ll be ready to listen to and care about and help with yours ok?

Need to get something off your chest too?
What’s bugging you today?

Darling lady, can’t help with much but CAN assist with nursing bra issue. Agree, most are completely crapola (could be because I refuse to pay $60 for a bra – maybe they are OK.) The generic Target nursing bras though, no itchy lace, perfect fit, super comfy, about $35. Want me to send you one? Seriously? (This was an unsponsored comment, for the record.) xx

I hear you loud and clear on Mt Washmore…. damn thing keeps growing and growing…
I am no better at cutting circles either. They always end up with a flat side!!

And while we’re on the topic of nursing bras – why are they all padded these days? Aren’t feeding boobies big enough without added padding? I get fairly self concious once I begin to move off the store-bought scale of sizes without the added vavoom of padding!!! ok, I’m done now :-) xxx

SO with you Cate – the Target ones are the only NOT padded ones I could find – and Kate P they go at least to DD (PS excellent use of ‘vavoom’. Kudos.) xx

I really was ready to give up nursing when Lil finally decided that she was too, and a decent part of that was due to 14 months in a nursing bra. God they’re awful. I especially ‘loved’ when I’d slide out the front of it because of the nursing pads.

Totally agree on the laundry front. I don’t mind the washing so much, it’s the ironing that shits me to tears at the moment.

Library DVD’s with scratches are the bane of my existence.

And the laundry goes without saying…
