Colour Hunt – Yellow

colour hunt - yellow

Ooops! I totally forgot to post my last colour hunt photo last week! So here it is today…. Yellow!

I spy: two fairies, seven stars and cows crossing the road.

Playing Wordless Wednesday with the gorgeous My Little Drummer Boys today, pop on over and say hi!

In other news….
I’ve got a post up over at Childhood101 today. Would you let your 7-10 year old use facebook?
And I’ve been selected as a Blogger With Xfactor… don’t be scared by cartoon me, if you ‘share me’ on facebook or twitter I could win and ipad, and there are loads of other awesome bloggers to check out too.

ooh, it’s a rainy day here today, so I might get my little ones to have a go at colour hunting!

Okay, I can’t find 7 stars and it is doing my head in.

:(

I must admit I have done all the colour hunts. I liked watching I Spy when my kids watched in on TV as well. Perhaps I’m a little juvenile?

the last three stars are probably a little tricky to find in this smaller image…they are on the rattle in the bottom right corner of the photo. I had to make it a little bit challenging for this last photo!

Love the idea of “colour hunting”. As Cate says, good one for a rainy day. You could even extend to “first sound” hunting, number hunting, category hunting (e.g. jungle animals, fruits…)… endless possibilities.

I like your colour hunt photos. You might like to take part in my fridge photo ‘challenge’ too. It’s not really a challenge but I’ve put a photo on my blog of my fridge because I realise it’s an interesting portrait of a family’s life.

Hi Kate!

This looks great!

Is this an activity you do with your kids? Or do you just do it because it photographs well?

I like it either way :)
