Lovely Links – Things I Want to Buy

fiestaware

I have this list, in the back of my head, of things I want to buy. Not important things, not things I really need, just things I’d like to buy, for me.

Mostly these are ‘when we are rich’ things. Some of them you can’t even buy here, or at least I don’t know where to find them. Some of them are things that I’ve just put off, things that have been shunted to the bottom of the list again and again in favour of new school shoes and, you know, food.

Call me selfish, call me wishful, but indulge me while I share some lovely links to things I want to buy…

These aqua shoes… and I don’t even have a thing about shoes!

Fiestaware! (see image above by matthewpiat via flickr)

A KitchenAid, in red.

A circle punch. One inch or maybe two?

This chair, these paints, this outfit (but not the bag and maybe the skirt in red?) and this painting (the top one).

Do you have a wish list? A secret list of things you’d quite like to buy, just for you? Do share!

If you enjoyed this post, please share it with others...

That chair… my gawd, I want one too.. I can picture it now – sunny afternoon, bevvie in hand, kids playing nicely and quietly…

When I’m rich I’m going to buy artwork. It’s the only thing I really want. That painting you want is gorgeous. I’d tack it onto my list too.

Wow – great picks! I would love to have that fiestaware (and i covet the red kitchen aid mixer which is definitely on my wish list). I am not a shoe person at all (love handbags of every description though) but those teal ones are gorgeous!

Whenever I get home to NYC i go with an empty suitcase that I fill up every time (and throw away half the stuff in my other suitcase to make more room for replacements) – too bad the kitchen aid is so heavy and the wrong plugs!

When I am rich I will buy beautiful furniture (half my house is IKEA)…

Selfish?…… never, a mum of 4, who spends her time doing wonderful things for them, wanting a little something for herself, definitely not selfish.
I’m keen for a circle punch too, I have a scallop one, but a circle one would be great, I’ll get around to it one day.

I have this crazy idea in the back of my head… and I need a circle punch to do it! Can you recommend a brand or type? I’ve never played with paper punches.

We only recently upgraded from a whisk to electric hand beaters… we have a long way to go before we get to kitchenaid! LOL

That chair is gorgeous. What a perfect chair for a busy mum to relax in.

I’m on the hunt for some shoes too with a pop of colour.

The Fiestaware was one of my favorite parts of Housewares when I worked at Kohl’s. The colors are just so brilliant.
