Wandering Wednesday.

I’ve been lapping up this lovely blog of late – Garden Mama.

Apart from being full of lovely images, and fabulous crafty projects, and gorgeous garden stuff it is also the creator and host of Wandering Wednesday, an invitation to look down and see where you are wandering, and I’m joining in today!

Here I stand in the HUGE puddle next to our front door. It was bitterly cold and the rang stung my face and froze my fingers, but I stopped to puddle paddle for a moment and wondered why I don’t do that more often.

Wordless Wednesday – Among the Leaves…

“Summer ends, and Autumn comes, and he who would have it otherwise would have high tide always and a full moon every night” – Hal Borland

I’m still working on finding some joy in these colder days… The autumn leaves we collected for an exciting weekend project did help a little, even if I did freeze my fingers off while collecting them!

Almost Wordless Wednesday – Bubble and Squeak!

ducklings5

The ducklings have names!

It was Rosanne (one of my fabulous digi scrap creative team members) who first suggested the names Bubble and Squeak and the girls instantly agreed.

While I’ve spent the past week or so trying to convince them that Yin and Yang (thanks Tiff) or Milk and Milo (thanks Squiggle Mum) would be just as good if not better… they would not budge.

So Bubble and Squeak it is… The brown one is Bubble and the yellow (turning white now!) one is Squeak.

They have grown so much in the past week or so and are now beginning to get their adult feathers and Squeak is starting to quack! We are still none the wiser on whether they are boys or girls though!

Thanks everyone for the great name suggestions!
