February has zipped passed us again, just like it always does!

This year February has seemed especially short at the Pickle Farm. Since the girls started school at the beginning of the month the days seem to be fly and the weeks are over before they’ve even begun!

I’m pleased to report that both Izzy and Zoe are loving school and doing really well. They are missing spending free time pottering at home though, so we are trying to enjoy as much ‘do nothing time’ as we can manage.

Muski is missing the girls terribly and is driving me nuts asking when we will go and pick them up. It’s nice to spend time just him and me (while it lasts) but sometimes it drives me just a little insane!

Number 4 is growing away nicely. I got a sneak peak and counted fingers and toes and all is well. Let me just reiterate though – we do NOT know what sex Number 4 is and will not know until the day he or she decides to grace us with their presence.

Apart from all that it is business as usual around here. We’ve been making jam, working in the garden, chasing the ducks and doing the stuff that we do.

So far so good on my Once and Month Scrapping Challenge too! I finished this page yesterday – nothing flash, just a quick little reminder of what we did this month…

We don’t really celebrate Valentines Day on the Pickle Farm. I was treated to a sleep in while the Baldy Boy and the kids made pancakes and I am making his favourite meal for dinner so I think that is celebration enough.

One thing I do enjoy about Valentines day is all the lovely digi scrap goodies that come out around this time. These are just two items that caught my eye – click on the image to take a better look.

I decided to get my act together too and put together a little something that would work well as part of a Valentines page or any other lay-out for that matter…

Way back in the good old days I used to digi scrap.

I also used to design digi scrap stuff. I even have my own little patch of shop front at pickleberrypop.com. Then life got in the way and I suddenly found myself with no time and no motivation to scrap, or design. I really want to get back into the swing of things though, so I’ve set myself a little goal….

Once a Month Scrapping

I’m going to scrap at least one page every month. It’s not going to be anything special. It doesn’t have to use my best photos, or be perfect. I’m not going to beat myself up if I get a little behind now and then. I just have to do it, scrap a monthly round up page.

So today is the last day of the month and here is my January lay-out!

Do you remember back when I posted about tricky things? About not having time to do all the things I needed and wanted to do? About having to let something go and change things up a little? Well here comes the letting go and changing part….

For the last year or so I’ve been blogging about my digital design stuff over at my other blog, Lazy Cow Designs. I haven’t actually done much blogging over there of late because it’s just too tricky to be a picklebum and a lazy cow. So I’m putting the lazy cow out to pasture for a while and I’m going to try blogging a little design stuff back over here again.

I promise not to bore you all with heaps of digi scrap or design stuff, but every other Sunday (or so) I might post a little digi design something… maybe. (I sound so sure don’t I!?) And this week I’m starting with a gratuitous plug for me!

In case you don’t know I like to digi scrap… you know, like paper scrapbooking but using the computer. I also design digital scrapbook kits and items and I hang out and sell my designs at the best digi scrap site in the world – Pickleberrypop.
