Digi Scrap Sunday – Once a Month Scrapping May.

OK so it’s already June and there is no Once a Month Scrapping page for May, nor a freebie.

I had good intentions really I did. I’ve been working on a template that was to be this month’s freebie, but it’s not finished and I don’t have the bandwidth to upload it right now even if it was, and we’ve been busy lately, and I still have an internal child’s bum in my ribs which makes sitting at the computer not so fun…. and…. well…. Enough excuses, it’s just not going to happen.

I’m cutting myself some slack and taking the pressure off for the next few months – give than hopefully at the end of this month I’ll be busy having a baby and at the end of July I’ll be busy looking after a baby…. so rather than beating myself up I’m just letting go.

If I happen to get the template done I’ll upload it as a freebie to share with you all. If I happen to get pages made for May, June or July, or freebies, I’ll share those too… but I’m not going to stress about if I don’t. I’m a big believer that scrapping and art in general should make you happy, and if it doesn’t you should stop.

So on that note today I am going to share some digi scrap pages and designs from around the inter-webs that have been making me happy lately – I hope they inspire you too.

Digi Scrap Sunday – Once a Month Scrapping April

You thought I’d let April slip by without completing my Once a Month Scrapping Challenge didn’t you!?!?

Not quite! I know it is technically May already but I usually post Digi Scrapping stuff on a Sunday so today is the day for April’s Once a Month scrap page and freebie!

I kept it simple this month, just picking my favourite photo of each child. I didn’t even bother making a quick list of all the ‘big’ things that happened… the page just looked better without it.

Digi Scrap Sunday – Once a Month Scrapping, March

Almost the end of March and I’ve just finished up my digi scrap pay-out for this month.

I must say, I am quite proud of myself for managing to stick to my goals and create a layout (and a freebie) for each of these first three months! It’s actually motivated me to scrap a few other bits and pieces… Well ok I’ve started two other layouts, I haven’t actually finished them yet… but I will!

Once a Month Scrapping – Februrary!

February has zipped passed us again, just like it always does!

This year February has seemed especially short at the Pickle Farm. Since the girls started school at the beginning of the month the days seem to be fly and the weeks are over before they’ve even begun!

I’m pleased to report that both Izzy and Zoe are loving school and doing really well. They are missing spending free time pottering at home though, so we are trying to enjoy as much ‘do nothing time’ as we can manage.

Muski is missing the girls terribly and is driving me nuts asking when we will go and pick them up. It’s nice to spend time just him and me (while it lasts) but sometimes it drives me just a little insane!

Number 4 is growing away nicely. I got a sneak peak and counted fingers and toes and all is well. Let me just reiterate though – we do NOT know what sex Number 4 is and will not know until the day he or she decides to grace us with their presence.

Apart from all that it is business as usual around here. We’ve been making jam, working in the garden, chasing the ducks and doing the stuff that we do.

So far so good on my Once and Month Scrapping Challenge too! I finished this page yesterday – nothing flash, just a quick little reminder of what we did this month…

Digi Scrap Sunday – This Much!

We don’t really celebrate Valentines Day on the Pickle Farm. I was treated to a sleep in while the Baldy Boy and the kids made pancakes and I am making his favourite meal for dinner so I think that is celebration enough.

One thing I do enjoy about Valentines day is all the lovely digi scrap goodies that come out around this time. These are just two items that caught my eye – click on the image to take a better look.

I decided to get my act together too and put together a little something that would work well as part of a Valentines page or any other lay-out for that matter…

Once a Month Scrapping – January.

Way back in the good old days I used to digi scrap.

I also used to design digi scrap stuff. I even have my own little patch of shop front at pickleberrypop.com. Then life got in the way and I suddenly found myself with no time and no motivation to scrap, or design. I really want to get back into the swing of things though, so I’ve set myself a little goal….

Once a Month Scrapping

I’m going to scrap at least one page every month. It’s not going to be anything special. It doesn’t have to use my best photos, or be perfect. I’m not going to beat myself up if I get a little behind now and then. I just have to do it, scrap a monthly round up page.

So today is the last day of the month and here is my January lay-out!

And here is a freebie with the papers and a few bits and pieces I used to make my lay-out.
