The ducklings have names!
It was Rosanne (one of my fabulous digi scrap creative team members) who first suggested the names Bubble and Squeak and the girls instantly agreed.
While I’ve spent the past week or so trying to convince them that Yin and Yang (thanks Tiff) or Milk and Milo (thanks Squiggle Mum) would be just as good if not better… they would not budge.
So Bubble and Squeak it is… The brown one is Bubble and the yellow (turning white now!) one is Squeak.
They have grown so much in the past week or so and are now beginning to get their adult feathers and Squeak is starting to quack! We are still none the wiser on whether they are boys or girls though!
Thanks everyone for the great name suggestions!

I think ducks are underestimated when it comes to great family pets. They are pretty awesome – especially when you get to raise them yourself!
Bubble and Squeak look like great family additions :-)
LOVE the names too sweet
I cannot believe they are growing so fast, wow!
*sigh*
Bubble and Squeak it is then.
Must admit they are cute names for ducks. But if you get two more… Milk and Milo?!!
How precious! I love the names, too. My girls would love to have ducks for pets. Happy WW!
They are so cute. Love the names.
I love the names. LOL at Squigglemum – sometimes its hard to admit defeat :)
They are very cute ducklings, and they are growing up very fast. If either of them turn out to be girls, then duck eggs are wonderful, richer than chicken eggs.
nawwwww they are growing up so quickly *sniff* Give Bubble and Squeak a lil cuddle for me! Welcome to the Picklebum family lil duckies!
They are so cute! My kids would love to have ducks as a pet. I think our kitties would object though.
How absolutely gorgeous !! Enjoy your ducks they sound like fun pets.
I have not made the mistake of showing this post to CJ lest she try to turn her plans for a duckpond in our backyard into a reality! LOL
Great names :)
