And I thought he would never talk…

If you are a regular picklebums reader you may remember several posts from me lamenting the lack of words coming from our Small Boy affectionately known as Muski. At 18 months of age he said two words, and neither of them was ‘Mama’. Even as recently as a month ago the speaking thing wasn’t his strongest point…. but now… a couple of weeks short of turning two the flood gates have opened.

He speaks…. oh boy does he speak.

“My turn… pwease my turn for Morgan?”

“Frinkles…. me want frinkles (sprinkles – 100s and 100s) pwease”

“Cuddle Mamma”

“Isshy…. ISSHY!!!” (Izzy)

“Love Zo Zo” (Zoe)

“Aunty Sarah…. Man Candy!” (he always forgets the ‘loves’ in the middle)

“Who’s bum? Dadda’s bum!”

“Morgan has big boogers Mama”

Yeah…. I think he can talk now…. though a dog still says “fffffffffffffffffff”

I love this talking stage – it is like non-stop commentary on every minute of the day. OK sometimes I could do without the constant “What you doing Mummy?” (like when you’re on the loo) but the rest of it is so cute. So glad to hear Muski is chatting – we have lots of “me want…” and “my going to…” in our house too. :)
