Boy Love – Things my boys are loving.
Boys are awesome. Well, except for when they are difficult, or punching, or not getting out of bed! But mostly boys are awesome, well the two we have are anyway.
This week is birthday week. I almost managed to have four kids with only two birthdays, but instead the boys birthdays are back to back, Morgan first and Noah the day after. There has been lots of counting down, much cooking of school and kinder birthday treats, and many considered decisions about birthday dinners… and presents, of course.
Morgan turned 7 this week.
My big boy is seven.
He has lost his three front top teeth all at once, he is loving swimming lessons, and he is reading everything he can get his hands on.
He also loves…
Minecraft – we bought him Minecraft: The Beginners Guide (aff. link) for his birthday and two others in the set. (Aussies you can buy them at Big W)
Eden on the ipad.
‘Pick Your Path’, ‘Decide Your Destiny’ and ‘You Choose’ Books
Lego – he got some Lego Technic for his birthday
Drawing, especially zentangles
Noah turned 4 this week.
My baby is four!
He loves kinder (preschool), he loves to complain about swimming lessons, and he is a little package of trouble wrapped up in cute.
He also loves…
Magformers (Aff. link) (Aussies look for good deals on ebay)
Imaginative play – he’s loving the Space Land printable imaginative play mat.
Funny books – Pirates Love Underpants is a current fav.
His balance bike. (He has one like this one)
Despicable Me and anything related, especially Kevin!
What are your kids loving right now?
{Disclosure: the Amazon links are affiliate links, I’m attempting to earn enough to keep myself in kindle books – but I haven’t managed it yet! LOL The rest of the links and suggestions are just ideas about where you might find these things just in case you are looking for gifts for boys, or girls. }
Hi Kate. I have just joined the blogging world and have also just found your lovely website. I am loving your creativity and enjoyed reading about your boys’ birthdays. Thank you for you fab site!
Well my boy is 8 weeks old so the only thing he’s loving right now is boobs. But my 4 year old girl is obsessed with Frozen, as are all the kids at her daycare, and she’s recently been begging to watch Monster High because all her friends are but I dunno. Vampires and ghoulish things? For a 4 year old? Seems a little odd to me, but then again I haven’t sat down to watch it myself yet.
