15 Christmas decorations for kids to make

Each year my kids and I crank up the Christmas music, break out the glitter and make a few Christmas decorations. Our tree is covered in kid-made decorations and we often add them to the top of gifts when we wrap them.

If you are looking for ideas for Christmas decorations you can make with your kids, check out this list. There are ideas that are perfect for bigger kids and the littlest of kids!

Clay Owl Ornaments from Paging Fun Mums – My owl obsessed girl will love making these!

Plaster of Paris Decorations from Childhood101 – These would look fabulous on our tree!

Nature Christmas Garland from Mother Natured – I love this gorgeous natural decoration!

Mini Paper Angels from the Craft Train – so simple and so lovely – with a free printable template too!

Salt Dough Ornaments from At Home with Ali – a simple recipe and lots of glittery painty fun!

Peace Dove Decoration from Be a Fun Mum – I think the dove is my favourite Christmas symbol, I’d love a tree decorated entirely with doves!

Stamped Clay Decorations from My Little Bookcase – Use air drying clay to make these simply lovely decorations.

Fusible Bead Decorations – we made these last year and had so much fun!

Nature Baubles from An Every Day Story – These are just beautiful!

Paddle Pop Stick Christmas Trees from Playing to Learn and Learning to Play – a great excuse to eat more ice-creams!

Christmas Decoration Creation Station from Learn With Play At Home – I think I’d enjoy this activity as much as the kids!

Milk Carton Ornaments from Laughing Kids Learn – these are so simple and so gorgeous!

Gluey Wool Christmas Decorations – this was messy but we had oh so much fun making these last week!

Egg Carton Christmas Bells from Happy Whimsical Hearts – even the smallest family members would love making these!

Easy Paper Play Christmas Wreaths from Mummy Musings and Mayhem – simple and fun, just how Christmas crafts should be!

Have you put up a Christmas tree?
What other decorations do you put up?

We need to make CHristmas tree ornaments for Aarya’s school’s Christmas tree. And I am pinning this for making some of these :) (We do not have a real Christmas tree, but bought for our home a smaller version from the store, we decorated it last year and this year we are going to do it again). Pinning it.
