Getting lost on Pinterest is still one of my favourite things to do if I have a few spare minutes… ahem… hours.
I have also started using pinterest to search for things. Pinterest is great for searching for crafty things or activities for kids, and because I am often looking for ‘that thing I saw on that blog that day’ Pinterest gives me a fighting chance of actually finding it!
Of course I also seem to find loads of other cool things along the way, as well as lots of cool new pinners and pinterest boards to follow.
Cool pinners and boards like these…
Looking for cool stuff to do with your kids?
Follow Tinkerlab and The Artful Parent for loads of fabulous ideas and inspiration. And check out the new Aussie Kids Blogger Network board, where a group of us who blog about activities for kids all contribute.
Looking for dinner ideas?
Follow Once a Month Mom for loads of freezer meal ideas and more.
Looking for beautiful gardens or homesteading inspiration?
Follow Beccijo, she has lots of gardening and related boards as well as other lovely stuff. Dixiebelle also has a fabulous ‘homesteading’ board and her food boards are full of interesting links too.
And one last pinterest tip…
Did you know that if click ‘follow all’ on someone’s profile and then unfollow any boards you are not so interested in, then you will be counted in their follower numbers (cause, like all social media it is all about the numbers!) and you will automatically see any new boards they create.
You can find me on pinterest too.. of course! Feel free to share a link to your pinterest profile in the comments!

Hehe… Pinterest should definitely come with a warning! But as a mum and a teacher, I love that I can save a picture of something that I like – it makes it so much easier to find again. I’ve also found it useful that I can access ‘my favourites’ when I’m away from home. Now I can be at work and share something I have saved by just using my phone.
I love your blog too – it makes me laugh :)

I have recently become addicted too, what a way to waste some time!! I have found some great ideas and things to do, now i just have to spend some time doing them and stop looking for more things to pin!

Oh, thank you, how kind!! I love images and the visual appeal, combined with the organised/ can’t-lose-a-link-again aspect of Pinterest, are so appealing to me!
