These give aways are now closed. Congratulations to the winners – Rebecca, TheEMM, Diana, Melinda and Laura – you have all been emailed.
These days I get a fair few emails asking me to review and/or give-away lots of different products. Because I write a personal blog, I don’t really want to fill it up with loads of reviews and give-aways, but sometimes the products are cool or useful or interesting and I often think you guys, my readers, might like them.
So I’m trying out a new gig… one big post with lots of little reviews and products to give away, otherwise know as my ‘Cool Stuff Give Away’ until I can come up with a better name!
Dinosnores – Kids Relaxation Stories
My kids and I love a good audio book or relaxation CD to listen to at bed time, it helps my lot quiet down and relax into sleep. Dinosnores sleep stories are interesting yet calming and have relaxation techniques built into the story so you don’t even realise you are doing them. We were given the Dragon CD to try out and all of my kids love the story, and I especially love the peaceful stromy white noise at the end of the story… makes me feel calm and sleepy just thinking about it!
I have one Dinosnores School Aged CD pack to give away. This pack includes: Fairy sleepy story (CD of the year 2012), Mermaid sleepy story (CD of the year 2011), Dragon sleepy story (CD of the year 2011) and Tyrannosaurus sleepy story (CD of the year 2011).
Bosistos Eucalyptus Oil
When our sample pack from Bosistos arrived I was keen to try out the eucalyptus spray on my girls bedding to see if it would help us keep on top of those pesky dust mites… but I’ve discovered the best use for this fresh smelling spray is on stinky shoes! A sprinkle of bicarb in shoes over night, empty them in the morning and a quick squirt of Bosistos Eucalyptus spray and the improvement is amazing. Ok I may also be a tad addicted to the smell, I am not a fan of air fresheners at all, but this… I just love this! There’s lots more handy hints on the web page.
I have one Bosistos prize pack to give away. The pack includes Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil, Eucalyptus spray, inhaler combo, nasal spray, EucoFresh Laundry Powder, Tea Tree Spray, Lavender Spray, Eucalyptus rub, antiseptic spray, a cuddly parrot toy and more!
Dymo Labelmaker
I have grand illusions of being organised… one day. I also have grand illusions that my kids will put their stuff away… one day. I am sure that if I just label every single thing in my house, magically the kids will put things away and I will be organised! So, armed with the handy dandy Dymo Letratag Label maker I set about labeling the girls drawers. We had lots of fun creating the labels and sticking them on, and it even had the girls excited about putting their clothes away… for a day anyway!
I have two Dymo Letratag Label Makers to give away. Or you can just pop in to your local Officeworks and pick one up (or any Sharpie or Papermate product), and be in with a chance to win a family escape to Hawaii. (Offer runs 15 May – 15 July). Find out more on their facebook page.
Canon Pixma Printer and PixMum Pack
In case you haven’t noticed, I like printables. Creating printables means I print a lot of stuff while trying to get them right! I also print out lots of lined paper for my kids to write on, menu plans, drawing prompts and lots and lots of other stuff. Last year we went through three printers in 6 months… then I got a Canon Pixma which has a paper feed at the bottom which can also be totally closed up when not in use, so Noah couldn’t feed anything crazy into it and break yet another printer!
Since I already have a Canon Pixma printer I convinced the lovely PR people to let me give away one Canon Pixma printer along with a Pixmums tips pack and how to video. You can check out some more cool Pixma printables here.

Life is full of snores, and smells and sneezes, things that should be labelled and things that must be printed-so a difficult choice, they are all great. I would like to win us the printer so that where ever we go we can have our pictures with us.
Labelmaker!
Last year while pregnant I got a little crazy towards the end. My husband would often find me sniffing the benches in the kitchen, I swore they smelt funny. I also removed every single packaging box and bag from my pantry. I purchased hundreds of plastic and glass containers in all a manner of sizes. Now I am stuck with a ridiculous amount of containers full of food and I struggle daily to figure out what is what. I love how tidy my pantry looks but I cringe when I have to find something. Please oh please help me out! My husband would also be very grateful! Hopefully if we have another baby I won’t go as crazy at the end :)
A Dymo Letratag Label Maker would help simplify my life… After 2 children and still years ahead of sleepless nights I’ve lost my mind. Every morning I wake up and need to remind myself the milk goes in the fridge not the utensil drawer! Perhaps i’ll label my children. Yesterday afternoon I called my daughter by my son’s name, and sadly enough my hubby heard!
I’d like to enter the label maker. We’re defence family and being posted again this year, so it would be nice to organise my belongings so I don’t end up with heaps of plastic tubs labeled “Misc Stuff” and get to play “guess whats in the box!”
I’d love the Dymo Label Maker, I’d go round labelling everything and it would help me get more organised. In particular I’d label those high value items that the kids take out and can easily get mistaken for someone elses; iPods etc.
