It’s all about the noticing the small things.
Catching the fleeting moments.
Remembering how joyful the ordinary can be.
It’s about whispering dears on the drawbridge of the castle.
It’s sharing my warped sense of humor with my Mum.
It’s time spent snuggling with my smallest when he wakes in the morning.
It’s all four kids in the hammock.
It’s devouring a good book together with my big boy.
It’s late nights watching Harry Potter for the first time with the kids.
It’s still giggling at the mere thought of something ridiculous years and years later.
It’s finding my joy.
What have your joys been this week??
What an absolutely gorgeous post Kate…you made me want to go in to my girls rooms and watch them sleeping! This week i am joyful that my big girl is flying home after 3 weeks away!
This made me equally reminiscent as well! It makes me want to hug my boys and look at old photos of them!
Just Beautiful Kate! My Joy is always cuddling my twins tighter when they wake up. It won’t be long until they don’t sit with me for five minutes holding me. Instead they’ll be up demanding their breakfast.
My joy with Miss Possum is seeing her so happy to get freckles (just like her mum). I know she won’t like having them soon but I’m just so thankful she loves them now. :)
Sharing a book with my stepson (7yo) and daughter (17 months) over the breakfast table and them enjoying it so much and laughing so hard we then acted it out to everyone we came into contact with for the whole day! The book was “I want my hat back” by Jon Klassen- just funny and unexpected x
