Thanks you to everyone who made suggestions on where to look! You’ll all be very pleased to know that I have found it! And although I am loathe to admit it, it was in a very safe place, the place I thought I had put it, the first place I checked but couldn’t find it. I actually checked there twice but still didn’t find it but on a whim late last night checked again. In the very very bottom of a deep, narrow pocket (one that I was sure I’d already emptied) I found my beloved stick disk!
Yipeee!!! All my designs are now safely on the harddrive and will be on CD soon *phew*
Thank goodness Si was out playing poker with ‘the boys’ as he would never have let me live down the fact that it was somewhere I had already looked. We affectionately call that in this house ‘a man’s look’ – you know when he is looking for something and you say ‘have you looked here’ and he says ‘yes it’s not there’ and then you go and look yourself and it is exactly where you said it was… a man’s look!
So I am guilty of a man’s look! Grrr… now that’s not something I am proud of!
On a good note though – we are still chicken mad in this house! I have some more photos and a little chicken related special event planned for my blog in a day or two. Just working on the final touches of a special prize and then I will spill all the details… in the mean time just ponder the fact that our poor chickens are still un-named!
Mind you no name big chicken number two is laying eggs!!! One yesterday and again today! Yipee! We celebrated tonight with a noodle omlette for dinner (though made from SA’s eggs!) and if all goes well on the egg front I will make zucchini slice with eggs from our chickens and zucchini and onions from our garden to take out on Tuesday!
Well msn hates me tonight and keeps logging me in and out of messenger indiscriminately… so I apologise to anyone I may have been chatting with. I gave up in the end and just turned the damn thing off! But before it went nutty I did get to check out a new blogger friend… yeah! The gorgeous Sif has a new blog called…. At the Bottom of the Garden She is such a wise and interesting woman I can’t wait to read all the good stuff she has to say!
We are off down to Airies for the day tomorrow.. lets hope the sun shines and we can play in the waves again, though if it isn’t reasonably hot my blue lipped girl (aka Izzy – who turns blue when she gets cold) won’t be able to go in the water so here’s hoping for a scorcher!
