I’d like to thank the inventor of the hammock.
There is so much about a hammock that I like.
The best combination of swing and couch.
So simple and yet so awesome.
And it makes sitting or even lying down something that is good for you.
It is good for me to take a moment and sit in the sunshine. Just a moment or two to soak up some vitamin D and good vibes.
It’s good for me to swing and rock. It’s good for my balance and for my brain development (shh just let me kid myself that my brain is still developing)
It’s good for me to take five minutes to just sit with my boys and do nothing but cuddle and chat and pretend we are in a boat and sing songs about the sea.
Yes… a hammock is a fine, fine thing.
Do have any ‘fine things’, such as hammock time, planned for your weekend?
Hammocks! Oh, yes. It’s time for me to get it out of the cupboard and give it a good wash. C’mon sunshine, be consistent so I can bask in your glory, caressed by hammock-y goodness! Thanks, Kate, for reminding me it is there. Enjoy. X
I just introduced my 3.5 year old daughter to my hammock last weekend. We were caterpillars in cocoons emerging as butterflies. We were sailing shark infested waters. It was simple. It was pure happiness.

I love that photo Kate..what joy!!! I have a hammock that has been sitting in the cupboard since the twins were born…perhaps time to dust it off…..
Oh Kate, you would love our inside hammock! It has different hooks to move it in to make a hammock swing and others to stretch it out to lye down with a good book. Bliss!
