“Will there be cake?”
“It’s not a birthday party” I told them. “It’s a New Years Eve Party”
“Why does the year need a party?”
“Well because… well… it’s the last day of the year today, tomorrow will be a new year”.
“So it’s the year’s birthday?”
“Yep, I guess it is.”
