Happy Birthday to Me…

Posted on January 20, 2008 19 Comments

Muski lay sleeping in my arms as I moused around the net looking for distraction at the end of a lovely day. He made a funny noise. I leant over him and  looked down at his sleeping face to see if he was ok. He half opened one eye….

Then a huge fountain of vomit shot up and out of his mouth with such ferocity and speed that I had no hope of getting out of the way in time.

It hit me, square in the face.

Milky, banana-ery vomit dripped from my eye brows and chin.

Why oh why did I have my mouth open?

Muski opened both eyes, grinned at me and said ‘blah blah blah blah” Which I am sure, translated means… “happy birthday Mamma”
