You know how on some blogs they list some of the crazy search engine terms that people have used to find their blog? Well I have always wanted to do that (because you all know how bad I want to be part of the cool blogging crowd), but up until now, no one has actually found my blog via a search! Switching to my own domain name and self hosted wordpress has changed that, so here I am, jumping on the band wagon, following the crowd, bleating like a contented sheep and sharing some odd search terms with you all!
“bribery and corruption, photos”
bribery and corruption… ok yeah I can see why someone might google that, but photos of bribery and corruption??
“stole my nanny”
Mum I promise I have never written a post anywhere that talked about stealing you, or any other Nanny for that matter!
“3 aces and 1 king ikea”
What?
“glitter bums.com”
I think this might be the next domain name I register (glitterbum.com is already taken but just add that pesky little s and it is all mine!)
“wee muski”
Well yes he is small… though somehow I don’t think that is what they meant….
The thing is with all of these… how disapointed must the people be when they click on my blog and find a lot of mindless prattle about living with small children in Australia?
What the? LOL They are a classic….
I’m intrigued as to how you found that out too! (clueless, as you can tell).
Hope you’re having fun too :-)
I like glitter bums :D
I had a lot of people checking for “Miss Hungary” How disappointed they must have been, because that post was about how much I miss Hungary ;)
And people searching the internet for Kuwaiti females and phone numbers.
Haven’t had many funny ones lately.
Oh wait, nearly 100 people that couldn’t spell Easter and were looking for “Eatser cards”.
;)
I have a lot of people find me when searching ‘miscarriage’ or ‘how to help someone who miscarries’ and things like that (unfortunately some of them bounce right away again without staying long enough to read the excellent information I have collected on the subject!)
I also had two people find me when they did a search for ‘zerbert’
I think I am going to make a post about the funny words my family uses…zerbert, snuggert, flub…you can see how this might result in more hits from search engines.
HAHAHAAAA!!!
