I’m still looking…

I’m still looking for March. I was sure it was under the piles of paper on my desk, but I shuffled them around and didn’t find it. Then I thought perhaps it was hiding in the girl’s room in a box of soft toys we are trying to get rid of. But searching only stirred up more ‘bunny dust’ (Izzy got the words round the wrong way and I giggle every time she says it now) which is the whole reason the toys have to go in the first place…

March…. where did you go????

That’s one quarter of the year gone. Disappeared. Evaporated. Poof!

April… oh April…. can’t you just wait a week or so before you arrive. I’m not ready. You see I have a blog design I desperately need to finish, and an Easter digi scrap kit that would be good to get in store before Easter actually arrives. We haven’t done enough swimming or enjoyed enough summer. We haven’t even begun our renovations and I so wanted them all but done by Christmas.

And hello?.. April?…you can’t come now because I have this list…. and if you are here already that means I am three months into my list and I haven’t done a thing!

Actually I sort of made a start on no. 35. ‘Sing Karaoke’. I attended a singstar party and yes, I actually sang, despite the screen flashing up the world ‘awful’ when it was my turn. I can’t say I’ve actually nailed no. 35 as I had to leave after only one or two songs to help a gorgeous baby come into the world… but I’ve accepted the invitation to a re-run in a few weeks and this time I will take my camera!

But I digress….

March… I’d really like to know where you went, but I guess I never will.

April… Looks like you are here to stay and I need to try my best to find the beauty in the falling leaves and the cold nights. I’ll try, but I can’t promise anything.
