Yesterday was just an ordinary day around here with all the usual stuff going down…
Yesterday I kicked the clucky brown hen off the nest for the hundredth time.
Yesterday I stepped over, around, and inbetween the mess all day until I finally caved in and picked it up after dinner.
Yesterday I folded and put away two baskets of washing and was so very grateful when Izzy folded and put away the other two as part of her school homework.
Yesterday I made dinner while chatting about three headed monsters and still life drawings of pears.
Yep, just another ordinary day.

Oh, so good to know I am not alone! The toys to avoid, the chooks to deal with and the washing and multi-tasking while cooking. About a typical day in our house.
stepping over toys all day is a normal here as well…I can get sick of it pretty quickly tho!!!!
I don’t think there is such a thing as a normal day for us…. some days we do nothing but play in our pjs and other days I’m bustling about like crazy, running errands and doing housework. Or we might go to the library or the park. I like variety :) Laundry is a constant though!
