Just for a moment everyone was drawing together. Everyone was sticking stickers. Everyone was sharing. Everyone was happy.
Even the small child was drawing, sticking and being shared with…. Just for a moment.
Then things went back to normal.
Muski tipped out the basket of crayons. Izzy took one of Zoe’s stickers. Zoe poked her tongue out at Izzy. Izzy shoved Zoe. Zoe cried and tried to make Muski cuddle her when he really didn’t want to. Muski fell off his chair and the Twindoes denied they had anything to do with it.
Bu,t just for a moment, everything was peaceful and happy and all ‘Soule Mamma-ish’. Luckily I had my camera handy and managed to catch that moment, otherwise I am not sure I’d believe it happened.
oh I so know what you mean, it is like that at our house, the three of them, quietly, enjoying something together!, I have another 3 1/2 weeks of school holidays … argh!!!!
Wow – Love the photos! Muski especially, that is stunning!
hahaha I “know” exactly the feeling.
Oh my my my, M’s hair is beautiful…!! And that moment, ahhh, looks like it was total bliss :)
I love seeing kids at play and being creative, and funnily enough, I took a snap of Caleb painting yesterday too!
But I know what you mean about just a moment, even just with two!
Gorgeous pix – muski is a smiley chappy! I totally get you when you aspire to “soule mammaish” moments – I aspire so much I bought her book (maybe you have it too?) – never get there though…
Hahaha Love it I totally hear you on those singular moments in time. Gosh Muski is growing too quickly
been having quite a few of those moments here lately myself……… and mine are so much older *blank face*
ahhhhhhhhh yes….you need to catch them doing something good to remind you how sweet they actually are..LOL mine are the same!!)
Ahhhh … my blue sky city xmas tree photo was like that – it was overcast and threatening showers, except in that photo – love how the camera can lie hahahaha!
I think the ensuing chaos is far more interesting, to read about at least, than just nicely drawing :)
