This is what happens when you give two seven year olds each a digital camera….

I think they are quite good…. well except the one of my bum.

And to think… 7 years ago we’d not even held our 5 day old twins because they were too unstable.

This week is National Premmie Week in Australia and in conjunction with March of Dimes and the Bliss Foundation November is the month that we celebrate, remember and support premature babies internationally.

I’ve blogged a lot about our girls early start to life, because I am still, even seven years later, learning to live the reality that our twins were born 11 weeks early. Here are some of the posts I’ve written on the subject.
How the Girls Came Into the World – Our story of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome and premature birth.
Too Soon – little reminders that our girls were born too soon.
Not How I Imagined – being pregnant and giving birth the first time was not how I imagined it would be.
Help Me Love My Baby – dealing with bonding issues after the birth of our prem twins.
Born, Quatro’s Story – how the birth of all my children (the prem twins and the two full termers) made me who I am.
And this post from the other day… 2×7 – celebrating the fact that my tiny babies are now 7 years old!

Check out Bloggers Unite for more stories about prem babies.

thought it was appropriate to share with you as you too understand what they are going through. The love and support families require & receive during the early days is enormous.

Looks very much like the photos Boo is taking – though she lines toys up and photographs them!
My iPhone is now safely back with me after the camera gifting ;)

    Love the photos!
Your posts are great and such an eye opener to those who haven’t experienced this.
On behalf of the March of Dimes, thanks so much for taking the time to help spread the word about the seriousness of premature birth.

These pictures made me laugh! Too Funny! Thanks for stopping by waddleeahchaa and I hope you can find the Wikki Stix. I have not found a child yet 3yrs to adults that can not put these things down once they pick them up. It is like play-doh. Hope to talk to you again next week. :) joyce
