Have you learned any lessons lately?

Nothing good comes from negativity. It was a hard lesson to learn.

I have learnt that night time pain stop tastes disgusting!!! My son has just had his tonsils out and he gagged on it-so I had a taste and omg it is the worst tasting medicine ever!!! Why do they make kids medicine taste so vile but make tablets for adults pretty colours that kids are attracted to??

uuggh yuck! I think most kids medicine tastes gross… but generally my kids don’t mind it!

One of my twins had her tonsils out (and adenoids) at the end of last year and that first week after was awful, but she has been so well ever since! I hope your boy recovers quickly.

I have learned that its never to late to fix parenting mistakes. (unless your kids are really all grown up already)One can always come in with the right kind of help and change and fix those mistakes we think were unchangeable

Oh, isn’t that the truth. I’m trying to teach that to my daughter, which is proving to be extraordinarily difficult. Maybe it’s because she’s only 5, but still. It’s a very important lesson to learn. Start em young, right??

Never too young to learn I say…. but then I do think this is one of those lessons that take a loooong time to stick. But I may just feel like since I am 40 and am learning it all over again right now! LOL

I don’t think its something we have to teach our kids. I think its just stuff we have to work on ourselves. My oldest daughter (of 6) was my real guinea pig. We made so many mistakes with her, but she is a mom now herself and what an amazing mother. Don’t think she learned it from me thought. case in point.
