Just tying up a few loose ends and answering a few recurrent questions…
Firstly, since so many of you have asked… Our new vacuum is a Dyson. It’s this one... the smallest barrel vac and the cheapest. It has no fancy bells and whistles but since we don’t have any carpet, we didn’t think we needed a fancy turbo head or the like. It cost a lot – well a lot more that I would normally pay for a vacuum but we went with a heap of recommendation from people and so far I am really pleased.
After living with a crappy broken vac for so long I can’t believe how well it sucks! It sucked up the rice after last nights dinner with ease, and it’s sucking dirt from between the floor boards just like Rach said it would. So for now.. I am in full on vacuum love, will let you know if the love wears off!
Fikey Frinkles have taken over our house.. along with Fikey Fiders. The Small Boy can’t say ‘R’ leaving him to say ‘The Led Lobot’s in the Lubbish’ and now he is also having problems with words that begin with an S and then have a consonant after then… Spikey, Sprinkles, Spiders. It’s very cute.
In other news… I’ve been writing for Multiple Bliss, about sharing a birthday, if you want to go look.
I’m also a Mumbler Mum stay tuned for our first blog posts coming soon, or chat in the forum while you wait.

I think our Dyson’s the same, except it has a grey top instead of yellow. I do find it a bit disconcerting to see all the dirt spinning around in the barrel though lol.

I bought my Dyson at the Boxing Day sales last year – I used gift vouchers I’d been given for Chrissy, too, so I got a decent price for it. The love hasn’t worn off yet!
Your blog is lovely :)
