I missed my regular lovely links post yesterday as I had a day away from the computer (I know… scary, but I had my phone for my little fix now and then). Today I am in the middle of packing up three rooms of our house as we get ready for the walls and roof to be ripped off. I’m in that crazy place of trying to decide what to keep (and where on earth we’ll put it), what to store and what to just chuck out. I’m not very good at being organised, but I’m going to have to get good at it, and fast! So here are a few lovely organising links…
I don’t read a lot of organisation blogs because, frankly, I find it all a bit boring and unachievable and I’m way too lazy to try most of time. But The Organised Housewife is my go to for a reference type blog, she has tips and ideas for just about everything, and she’s an Aussie so I can usually get most of the items she recommends which is a bonus!
I also love Small Notebook – this blog is minimalist living that is realistic, practical and not over the top.
I’ve recently discovered The Family Handyman and while some things are not appropriate for Aussies, I have been busy book-marking ideas for when our renovations are finished. I love that so many ideas on this blog are super easy, like the plastic bag storage using a tissue box featured in this post.
I’m also enjoying the organising section of Real Simple. I am not a huge fan of the layout of this blog, I don’t find it particularly easy to navigate but they have some fabulous, ‘real simple’ ideas like this one to use a magnet to keep tweezers from getting lost in the bathroom.
So while I am lost in the land of boxes and indecision, has anyone else got some great tips or links about living in a small space or organisation?
