MIA

I have been a very bad blogger this week… things have well and truly got the better of me and I have HUGE deadline looming and sooooo many things flying around in my brain!

But I am starting to feel I might just be on top of this deadline. If things go to plan tonight the final copy of the DSH newsletter – SCRAPSCRIPTION – the thing that has been truly driving me insane over the past few weeks – might actually be done and emailed out for the final check before uploading. I am sort of counting my eggs before they have hacthed here as I am still in the process of converting it to pdf files and then I have to edit in all the link… but I am reasonably confident it will get done tonight… I hope.

But I have to admit my bed time goal has gone out the window this week…. but I have been getting up at a semi reasonable time… no sleeping later than playschool has been my rule this week! And we have been out of the house almost every day despite the girls still being a bit under the weather!

We are to RCH for the girls two year old developmental assessment – based on their corrected age rather than actual age they were two on Jan 26th this year. This assessment is part of the VIBES research project – Victorian Infant Brain Study – and we’ve been followed by this team since the girls were born. It’ll be a big morning showing off our genius children and trying to get them to co-operate as well, but for a change I am not at all worried about the outcome of the assessment. And if we are not too knacked afterwards we may call in at the zoo on the way home to tell a few secrest to the Hippo… inbetween the million and one other things we are suposed to do tomorrow!

But anyway must stop waffling and get back to work, just wanted to nip in and post this now incase I don’t get a chance later.
