You know it’s one thing to have a perfectly neat and organised house (yeah like that will ever happen) but there’s more to having an organised life than having a tidy house. I need to organise my head!
I’m a big believer in positive thinking, in enjoying the moment and taking time to be happy with today and not waste time worrying about tomorrow or worse stressing over yesterday. The only problem is… I suck at those things… a lot!
I am an optimist, I always hold out hope that things will miraculously work out for the good of all, often when all hope is lost, but I am also a worrier. It is genetic. I inherited worry from my grandfather and I am not the only one to suffer from it on my Mum’s side of the family. I need to work extra hard to think happy thoughts, to look on the bright side and to enjoy what I have… because seriously, I have a LOT of great things in my life.
I read a few slightly hippy-la-la blogs (and I mean hippy-la-la in the nicest possible way) about attracting good things into your life, about ways to think positive and capture happiness. One such blog I like a LOT it Carole’s Rejuvenation Lounge… oh how I wish I could jet off to Bali or the Gold Coast for a bit of rejuvenation – but failing that reading her blog is almost as good, and a while back I latched on to an affirmation that she posted… of course now I can’t find the exact post but I know it is there somewhere… I think…
The affirmation is simple – “I bring joy and abundance easily into my home”.
I like it to a nice all encompassing my life is good and it will stay that way kind of reminder… except I kept forgetting to think/say it. So I made my own little personal reminder…
I whipped this up last week, coloured it today and printed it out to stick in the middle of my messy and overcrowded pin board. If I look up from my desk it catches my eye and reminds me. If you like this affirmation and also need a little reminder, you can download this design here.
It comes as a .zip file which includes an A4 sized image (as above) in .jpeg format, ready to print out. If you are a digiscrapper it also includes the word art and the frame as two separate .png files for you to use on your layouts.
A few pesky little rules… Please read the ‘terms of use’ statement (tou) that comes with the image files – these files are ok for personal use, please don’t use them for any commercial uses without contacting me first. Please don’t share the zip file, rather direct people to my blog so they can follow the download link and I can find out how many times it has been snagged. Oh and leave me a comment here if you download, that would be ace! Apart from that, download, print and enjoy!
If you are after some other affirmations Louise Hay posts an affirmation a day on her web site and The Affirmation Spot posts an affirmation and inspiring blog posts too.
Kate I just downloaded the files and the poster looks great, such beautiful bright colours. It is also such simple but powerful message. Thanks for sharing it! :)
Kate –
Thank you for mentioning The Affirmation Spot and for introducing me to your blog.
I was just reading through some of your previous posts. You are really creating an approachable and positive environment through your writing.
Stay inspired!

Hi Kate,
I’m so thrilled that Blog and I have brought a little sunshine and joy into your life.
And you never know, I may see you in Bali much sooner than you think. It’s only an affirmation away.
Peace, love and chocolate
Carole
Thanks Kate, this is just what I need. I am decluttering my fridge and putting this affirmation squarely on the front, where I can’t miss it. The fridge is presently covered with an assortment of magnets and a weekly planner that is never up to date.
It looks FABULOUS Kate. Well done. :) I love Carole too!!!
Thanks Kate! I LOVE affirmations and positive thinking! :)
