We got a package in the mail late last week. I had no idea what it was at first. I couldn’t recall anyone saying they were going to send something to us, and there had been no birthdays or other celebrations so I was curious to see who it was from and what was inside. When I opened it I suddenly remembered!
One of the nice ‘side effects’ of writing a blog is that you get to ‘meet’ other bloggers from all over the world. You get a little peek into their lives or their passions and you get to share a little insight here or there. A while back I found a blog called Nissa’s Niceties. At the time the lovely Nissa was in the process of revamping the look of her blog and was trying to decide on a ‘catch phrase’ for her header. Me, being the helpful person that I am, left a comment saying how much I liked one particular catch phrase and wished her well. To my surprise, a week or so later an email arrived from Nissa to say that she’d like to send my some hair clips for the Twinadoes – as a thank you for helping her decide on a catch phrase! How nice is that!
So that was what was in the package, hair clips. I assumed that my very lucky girls would maybe get a pair of clips each but when I opened the package there was a lot more than a pair each! My girls were in heaven! Izzy quickly claimed anything that was pink and particularly fell in love the one with the crown on it. Zoe claimed the ‘Cinderalla’ ones (ie the blue ones) and told me very earnestly that there was a ‘real diamond’ just like in a princess crown! I am particularly partial to the green St Patrick’s day pair!
The clips are all lovely and most are of the kind you can just squeeze to open and easily slide in and out. They are easy enough for the girls to get in and out without loosing huge chunks of hair yet stay in well enough for them still to be there when they come home from kinder. You can find Nissa’s gorgeous hair clips at her Etsy store – Luscious Little Treasures. She has some gorgeous ballerina dresses too!
Thanks so much Nissa!
I’m so glad your girls like them! I wish they had gotten there a bit earlier, but I recently found out that customs takes a while with packages.. I’m glad I got to meet you through blogging!
