Twenty-two apples.
22.
Two, Two.
Apples.
Four days.
Yep my kids at 22 apples in four days.
My kids are currently aged 8, 8, 5 and 2.
I am scared for my future food budget and how many times I will have to shop per week.
Twenty-two apples in four days… that’s what real life looks like around here.
What does real life look like where you live?
What is real life like at your place?
There was lots of fabulous ‘real life’ shared last week…
I especially liked this post from My Little Bookcase about bedtime routines… ours is getting more and more insane all the time!
And this post from Stuff With Thing didn’t link up properly last week, but it is a lovely look at the real life with two gorgeous girls.
If your life is full of those crazy little things that are so ‘real’ they are ‘unreal’, the things that make you laugh, because if you didn’t laugh you’d cry, those every day things… please join in and link up.
Write a post or take a photo, or share anything that fits the theme of ‘real life’ (make sure it is not a competition or a sponsored post), then link up. Or play along on instagram or twitter with the hashtag #reallifewednesday
Add a link back to this post and pop on over and say hello to some others who have linked up too. Feel free to grab the button below if you like, and don’t worry, you don’t have to post today, the linky will stay live all week.

I don’t know if my comment just worked, I’ll try again…
That’s a lot of apples!!! You’re welcome to help yourself to our crisper, Pebble won’t touch apples.
Better 22 apples than 22 muffins! Their livers will love them for it!
that is what I keep telling myself… better apples than something less healthy or more expensive!
We go through A LOT of apples in our house too – I only have two kids but I buy two bags of (small) apples a week. Also bananas – can’t keep up with demand.
I feel your pain, Heidi went through a bag of apples in 2 days, she is so hungry all the time at the moment.
22 apples wow. I was in Kyneton a few weeks ago, and the local fruit shop was selling Pink Lady apples at $2 per kilo. Sounds like that’s where you need to be shopping :)
OH my…now that’s A LOT of apples! OY!
22 apples in four days is awesome!!! If they are organic, then you do need to budget! :) With two kids and me as an apple eater, I’d say we go through probably 6 in 4 days. haha!
22 apples is an impressive record!
We have had a couple of 5 banana days recently and that’s just with one two-year-old so if I had four of them … 20 bananas a day? Thank goodness they’re not at last year’s prices.
Hi! I am new to your blog, and I love it! I too have 4 kiddos, ages 8, 5, 3 & 2 and life is CRAZY, but so much fun! Thanks for your very fun posts!
Happily we are not at the eating like a horse, stage! But we did buy and plant an apple tree, an orange tree, and some strawberry and tomatoe plants! Slowly but surely we’re going veggie! (As in gardening!)
My kids love apples too! We go through them very quickly! You should get the book “Ten Apples Up On Top!” if you don’t already have it. My kids loved it. :)
