Why do I always think I should be someone I am not?
Do you do that too?
Do you often find yourself thinking that you should do something that is really not you, and then wonder if it should be you and whether you should change?

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, learn and live, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation, and we pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Indeed I do! I think it has something to do with having so much choice these days and being a perfectionist- constantly thinking we have to do more, be more, instead of just sitting back, enjoying what you have, what you are and being content and happy.
All the freaking time…
I think its normal to think this – although wouldn’t it be awesome if we all just embraced who we were!!
I’ve spent my life wishing I were an extrovert. I’m not.
Yep. I think it stems from not really knowing myself as well as I ought to. I just don’t. So I’m not really sure what I would like to do or not do so I tend to get involved in all sorts of things that I’m not especially comfortable with. Second guessing everything.
But I think a lot of people feel this way. Either that or they actually ARE being something that they’re not. (That “impostor syndrome” business seems to be everywhere lately!)
To thine ownself be true… and all that. x
