Since I still can’t remember the fantastic thing I was going to blog about, I thought I’d go ahead and do this Me Me that Dee over at Words tagged me for. I am note sure where this started or quite what the goal is with such an interesting set of questions but here goes anyway –

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.

What was I doing 10 years ago?

Hmmm lets see… ten years ago… I am not sure I can remember back that far!
I was working at a child care centre, teaching three year old kinder. I was living in sin with the Baldy Boy. I was pretty foot loose and fancy free actually…

What are 5 things on my to-do list for today?

1. Help my Mum make library bags for the Twinadoes
2. Print out photos and post them to a friend
3. Download a heap of things on my parents fast net access
4. Go home and hope Muski sleeps in the car
5. Put on a load of washing and put a load away.
6. Scrounge something easy for dinner
7. Get the kids to bed without too many dramas so that I can spend some time being creative.

Snacks I enjoy?

Turkish Delight! Carrot and celery sticks, Vegemite sandwiches, nori rolls, bananas, banana milkshakes…. oh I could go on and on….

Things I would do if I were a billionaire?

Give money away to everyone who I thought might benefit! I think it would be so ace to walk into a school or kinder or charity, not to mention friends and family, and just say ‘looks like you need a new x y and z, here you go, go buy the best and enjoy!’ and walk out again! I am just overwhelmed with everything that could be achieved with a billion dollars…. with a bit of clever investment you could be helping people with that money forever and ever.

Places I have lived?

Right now I am at my parents place – I lived here in this spot for 23 years of my life, with one small deviation while they knocked down the old house and built a new one. During that time I did spend a bit of time overseas here and there and very early on we lived in a tiny flat in Carlton (inner city Melbourne) but I was so little I have no memory of that. I moved out to the ‘wrong side of both rivers’ in the inner west of Melbourne and later the Baldy Boy and I bought a house also in the inner west. After we sold that house a little over three years ago and were effectively homeless (the girls and I were living with my parents the Baldy Boy was living with his Dad) we bought out current house in north central Victoria on a whim, after going for a drive one day and falling in love. We never intended to move to the country when we sold our house in West Footscray but it was the best thing we have ever done!
