Inspired by Azure of Suburbia’s recent post about the gorgeous Audrey’s miss-sayings I feel compelled to blog a few of the funny things the boogers have been saying of late… so I don’t forget.
My favorite ‘miss-saying’ at the moment is – ‘Berserk = Dessert’
‘What’s for berserk?’
Asked every night as they finish dinner…. and yeah it is kind of berserk that we have fruit or yoghurt or the odd home cooked treat after dinner… and it is especially berserk the mess that the boogers can make with a tub of yoghurt each!
And funnily enough – Audrey goes to ‘clay-goop’ and we go to ‘play-grit’ Especially funny cause it is the same place.. well ok, take my word for it, it is funny when you hear it!
Zoe has a passion for using the word ‘ojabect‘ (object) at the moment – ‘I like the look of that ojabect‘ which just cracks me up.
But of course all the talk in our house at the moment is about names…. Izzy breaks into tantrum tears if we try to suggest any other name but Muski for her brother, but both boogers have come up with a number of suggestions….
Right after he was born Zoe put forward the option of ‘Gun’ but we quickly squashed that idea.
Izzy suggested ‘fairy toes mermaid’ but then quickly decided that was too girly.
They both think ‘poo’ would be an incredibly funny name… as would ‘stinky’
Zoe also likes ‘Casti‘ despite the fact that is the name of her doggy toy.. she is quick to assure that that the toy wouldn’t mind.
Love it!! Clay-goop and play-grit, sounds like a dirty old time to me :)
Their name suggestions are awesome LOL
i looove Gun – he is!! But somehow i don’t think Muski Gun Buckler is ok What about you guys

around age 4 my son came up with “lup bats” which was his version of “love pats” (that’s the loving pats on the bottom that are obviously NOT spanks, but somehow demanded a name of their own).
I don’t remember what names ds suggested for the baby, but suffice it to day that I think sibling’s suggestions for babies (no matter how old the sibling) are generally a bad idea. When my grandma was 15 her parents had a baby and she suggested her bf’s name as baby’s middle name…and they did it. Of course, she didn’t date that guy for long, and now her brother is stuck with the name. Better than “poo” I suppose, but still! They can name their own kids (and dolls and toys) but you get naming rights for your kids. :-)
