I heard the cry go up late yesterday arvo…
“Izzzzyyyyyyyy no! Mammaaaaaaaaaaaaaa“
A few seconds later Zoe arrived in tears saying ‘Izzy wee’ed on my foot’.
Ok I couldn’t help but laugh even though Zoe was mortified for some reason (usually wee doesn’t phase her at all) and there was a HUGE puddle all over the kitchen floor, the chair she’d been standing on and down the front of the dishwasher.
I asked the ‘wee-er’ what she’d been doing at the time of the incident and she replied ‘getting away from Zoe’…. so I guess if running away fails you can always wee on your sister to get her to leave you alone.
As Izzy and I mopped up the puddle and I wiped down the dishwasher I was amazed to see how clean and white the dishwasher was where the wee had splashed it. I didn’t even realise it was that dirty until I saw the contrasting splashes!
Wow that wee is powerful stuff… now if only Izzy could figure out how to use it for good instead of evil.. or even just realise that it is coming out of her… then we’d be getting somewhere!
In other news – we went into Carlton yesterday so I could be poked and prodded and the girls shown off. The girls got to take my blood pressure and heard the baby’s heart beat on the doppler… though they still haven’t really sorted it all out as yet and keep telling me I only have a baby in my pyjamas. Might make more sense when we have our 19 week scan in 2 weeks though somehow I doubt it.
After I drooled over all the yummy cold meat sandwiches I couldn’t eat at Threshermans we braved the heat and renewed our FOTZ membership and checked out the new elephants and the orangutans… the new orangutan house is awesome, but I am hoping they might be doing more when we are back next time and it is not 35 degrees!
Wow, someone should tell the companies that make the cleaning products about the power of wee! LOL
Glad to hear you and bubs are travelling well :o)
LOL…I just love the Zoe and Izzy stories. And its so lovely to include your girls in the medical check ups, Beren was fascinated too. I bet they’ll be excited when your bubs is here :-)
I just love reading about the adventures of Zoe and Izzy, and their mum too. Congratulations also on your growing family ~ how exciting! As a new parent of twin girls (they are almost 8 mo old) I already feel like my hands are so full. Your stories give me a glimmer of what is to come and I know that I have yet to experience what it means to be really busy!
Sounds like Izzy can really move to cover so much ground, while weeing, either that or she has the bladder of a Camel… Oooh, only two weeks till your scan – do we get to see a scan of the scan? As if I don’t have enough baby lust as it is…
Lol at the wee!
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
LMAO on the wee that is a classic!
Oh congrats on the pregnancy! I must have missed something LOL! This is wonderful news and I am very excited for you!
