These are the things I know….
I know that school will always call me to come and collect a sick child when I am over an hour away and busy having a good time.
I know that school will never call me to come and collect a sick child when I am stuck doing something I’d rather have a good excuse to get out of.
I know that while I don’t actually celebrate Mother’s Day, it makes me smile when my girls bring home carefully selected gifts for me from the Mother’s Day stall, even though I had to pay for them
I know that I was VERY proud that my big boy told his preschool teacher that he loves me ‘because she always lets me cook stuff with her’.
I know that going to a PR event that is at a play centre and that has lovely staff from Speed Babysitting there to help watch the kids makes attending a pleasure. No trying to find baby sitters or missing half of the event because of kid wrangling. Thanks to Kid’s Business for organising such a child friendly event.
I know that bringing home bags of toys from the Blogger’s Brunch makes me very popular with my children!
I know that a a small boy who loves cooking will absolutely adore a cup cake making play dough set, and so will his sisters. Thanks to Hasbro who gave away goodies at the Bloggers Brunch.
I know that a toy which is not screwed, tied or taped into incredible amounts of excess packaging makes me very happy! Thanks to Zimbler who gave us an awesome Bruder delivery truck at the Bloggers Brunch.
I know that new doll’s clothes will see the baby dolls come out after a long long time on the shelf. Thanks to Headstart who gave away goodies at the Bloggers Brunch.
I know that chatting with friends, both in real life and via skype makes me very happy.
I know that Yay For Home hosts the Things I Know link up each week and if you join in next week she might even have a fancy new ‘things I know’ button to share with you!
Was such a fabulous day today. My girls are really looking forward to taking their big present bag into school on Monday to give to our Principal for Christmas raffle (lucky school has lots of storage space :D ).
Muski is a lovely young gentleman, it was a pleasure to meet him today.
Chatting is one of my favourite pass times, glad I got to have a chat to you today Kate!
